Rocky is back! Â'The Italian Stallion "has tied the gloves one last time. But I do not see this fragile Rocky Should I pretend the movie never happened and relish in the glory of the original five Rocky movies? It's easy to be skeptical about this final edition of the Rocky series. Sylvester Stallone has passed its peak, pushing 60. What is Rocky trying to prove?
The answer to the last question is that this is the last fight Rocky. He wants to show he still has what it takes to be a respected fighter, an understanding father, legend and champion.
What this film does really well is to wrap up loose ends. There are three different conflicts that meet the head of the aging Rocky. Rocky trying to let go of his late wife, Adrian, the age of age against the current generation of combat and, finally, deal with Rocky Jr., now 25 years old, sour live in the shadow of his fatherÂ's.
In Rocky Balboa Rocky appears as an aging ex-champion to move around the modern world as a ghost stuck in the past. He clings to the memories of loved ones deceased, experiencing setbacks in history, while the rest of the world moves on without him. Hea peoplee's still the champion, especially people Philadelphia.
In contrast, the undefeated boxing champion of the world, La Linea "Mason Dixon (Antonio Tarver), finds his fighting career frustrating because it seems to fight in their caliber. His interest in turn on him because he does not push himself the way former champions in the past.
Mason and Rocky join by an ESPN broadcast showing a simulated fight Rocky winning team on the fastest, Mason, younger. Advertisers Mason to create a  "old newa verse "exhibition match as a publicity stunt to recover Mason's fans.
Meanwhile, Rocky Jr. shows his frustration at being the son of a legend stuck behind the shadow of a beloved hero. He is bitter toward her father for choosing to step back in the spotlight. Rocky fights to win his son.
With his friends and family at his side, Rocky begins his training, which happens to be the next challenge. Your body can not handle any type of cardio-vascular activity so that the trains by lifting large amounts of weight. Rocky goal is to take on Mason with punishing blows, rather than footwork.
Of course, there are plenty of throbbing meat, eat eggs, and passage of the celebrations included within the family mount music. Some things never changed. You can not have a movie Rocky, not Paulie (Burt Young), making some dough out of Rocky Rocko name or get your face punched to a bloody pulp. Thata standard only.
Rocky Balboa has proved a good end to the Rocky series. The ageless recipe under-dog beating the odds is the winning formula of the Rocky series. I to say I never thought it would be possible to make another Rocky, Rocky Balboa, but I was wrong. Almost as crazy an idea to make another Rambo movie, it turns out, is in the works; isnÂ't did with Sly Stallone action movies yet. Like his character in Rocky, he a "still has some things left in the Basement "(metaphorically speaking).
